About BeClose

We started BeClose two years ago with a single goal in mind — to bridge the gap between seniors who want to age gracefully and independently in their own homes and family, friends, and home care providers who want to know that they're safe. BeClose's caregiving technology gives caregivers the information and tools they need to ensure their loved ones are safe and continuing with their normal, daily lifestyles - before something happens.

Our technology is based on a research and development partnership with the nation’s leading in-home wireless monitoring system and is up and running in over 800,000 homes in the US. We partner with family caregivers, homecare providers, hospitals and senior living organizations to help older adults age safely and affordably in the environment that they choose.

We know that everybody ages differently and every family functions uniquely. For this reason, the BeClose system is fully customizable so that families and home care providers can set up the type and amount of information they receive while optimizing privacy and independence. Our customers vary widely from fully healthy seniors living alone, to cognitively impaired Alzheimer's patients, to disabled young adults, to elderly people with home care assistance. Some have family living nearby, while others live far from loved ones. Nonetheless, all BeClose customers enjoy the independence, peace of mind and dignity that our system offers.
